Encore Visions is extremely honored to have Lacy Short as a graphic designer on our team. Lacy's background in agriculture and unique eye for design has made her an invaluable part of the team as she is able to create show-stopping materials that resonate with our agricultural and livestock clients.

Lacy grew up in Northwest Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2006 with a degree in Agricultural Journalism. She previously worked at Iowa Farmer Today, a Lee AGRI-Media publication, serving in advertising production as a designer.

Lacy resides in Masonville, Iowa with her husband Kelly and sweet baby girl, Rylee Rose, who was born August 6, 2009. They own Monti West Black Cattle consisting of a small herd of approximately 20 cows.

 

Laura joins the Encore team with great experience and a keen eye for design. Having served as the Art Director for the National Livestock Exhibitor magazine for the past 6 years, Laura’s experience and industry awareness is a huge asset to our print division.

Laura was raised in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. She graduated from Grand View University in 2004, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and studied Fine Arts. In that same year, she married her husband, Josh Stewart. They now reside in Runnells, Iowa with step daughter, Sophie, and son, Alex.

 

 

Robyn grew up in west central Minnesota, actively involved in the livestock industry. She spent her youth raising and showing Hereford and Angus cattle in conjunction with her family farm. Her passion for agriculture lead her to South Dakota State University where she obtained a degree in Agricultural Journalism. Before joining Encore Visions, Robyn held positions as Marketing & Media Promotions Manager at the Clay County Fair and later served as Executive Director of the Iowa Sheep Industry Association. Additionally, she freelanced on various projects as a graphic designer within the agriculture community.

Robyn currently resides in Conrad, Iowa with her husband Brad who works as an Ag and Commercial Loan Officer for MidwestOne Bank. Together they also run Amthauer Club Lambs.

 

 

 

In December 2010, Jamie Banbury joined the EV Team as a graphic designer based out of Danville, Ohio. Jamie graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in agricultural communications in 2009 and was employed previously as director of communications with the Ohio Pork Producers Council. She also spent five years working at Ohio’s Country Journal and Ohio Ag Net, one of the state’s largest agriculture news sources and radio networks.

 

Jamie’s interest in agriculture stems from growing up on one of the largest commercial sheep and goat operations in the Midwest, combined with several years of showing market lambs through 4-H and FFA. Throughout her show career, Jamie exhibited multiple breed champions or reserves at NAILE, Reserve Overall at the National Western Stock Show and the champion or reserve at the Ohio State Fair seven times. Today, she continues to be involved with the industry assisting her younger sisters with their lambs, helping other exhibitors locate their club lamb projects and hosting an annual lamb camp that educates youth from across the nation.

Tell Stevens came to Encore Visions in May 2009 as a project coordinator and to serve as part of the web development team. He has proven to be a huge asset to our team as he is constantly coming up with more efficient ways to do things, out-of-the-box ideas and a has creative passion like none other.

Tell is in the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2006 and has a strong background in cattle and sheep. He was raised in Bangs, Texas on a commercial cattle and farming operation. His love for agriculture, desire to serve people and creative mind set make him a wonderful fit at Encore Visions.

Kristi has a bachelors degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University and has been with Encore Visions since it first originated. While Kristi still helps Encore Visions with Website Development, she plays a huge role as the Vice President and Manager of Unit Visions, our subsidiary company that handles the marketing and communications for Mary Kay Sales Directors.

Kristi has a great deal of knowledge in the area of strategic marketing that she gained while interning with the Dallas Convention and Visitors' Bureau. While working for the bureau she spent time researching media value and how advertising translated to a dollar value return for the organization.

Her knowledge also expands to the area of niche markets, and how to best create campaigns and organize websites that will most effectively target such markets. This experience, coupled with her current studies in marketing and planning, has made Kristi a valuable asset to the Encore Visions Team.

Originally from Bullard, Texas, Reagan Kelly is the third of six children and is currently studying Agricultural Communications at Texas A&M University. Reagan was extremely involved in FFA growing up, raised cattle and hogs and was a member of the Livestock Team at Coffeyville Community College from 2007-2009.

Scheduled to graduate in May 2011, Reagan's plan includes staying active in the livestock industry and continuing her career in marketing with Encore Visions.

As a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic who is knowledgeable in the agricultural industry, we feel fortunate to have Reagan on our team!

Originally from Newcastle, Oklahoma, Shawna Allen's passion for agriculture started at the young age of three with her first show pig at the local livestock show. During high school she was activley involved in FFA, not only through showing cattle and livestock judging, but also went on the serve as the 2004-2005 Oklahoma FFA State Secretary. Her admiration for the livestock industry and the people involved led Shawna to obtain a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Communications at Oklahoma State University; where she was a member of the 2007 Livestock Judging team. Upon graduation, Shawna was employed as Director of Communications at American Farmers & Ranchers until deciding in the fall of 2009 to pursue a masters in business administration (MBA). Before joining the team, Shawna worked at Oklahoma State University as an Outreach Coordinator for the Department of Agricultureal Education, Communications & Leadership while completing her MBA.

Originally from Hico, Texas, Tandi is the 2nd daughter of Rod and Velvet Townsend. She spent her youth raising and showing hogs as well as being an integral part of her FFA Chapter. Tandi graduated from Texas Tech University in August 2010. She has a passion for the agriculture industry and for customer service and has found her way back to it through Encore visions. Prior to joining Encore Visions, Tandi held a position as a Program Specialist as South Plains Association of Governments.

Shawn Zeringue is a recent Texas transplant from Raceland, Louisiana, where he grew up surrounded by agriculture. Through showing cattle, sheep, and hogs, Shawn developed a passion for agriculture and became highly involved in his local 4-H and FFA programs. He was a member of the LSU Livestock Judging Team from 2007-2008. In May of 2009, he graduated from LSU with an Agriculture Education degree; but, after a short stint in the classroom, he realized his creative talents could be used more fully through web and media design. Shawn's hard work ethic and humor make him a strong member of our creative team.

 

The DRIVE team is excited for the addition of Marissa Tankersley to our team. Marissa is originally from Stockton, Kansas, graduated high school in 2005. She went on to further her education at Butler Community College, in El Dorado, Kansas, and Kansas State University. She received Bachelor degrees in Animal Science and Mass Communications. While growing up Marissa was extremely involved in 4-H and FFA. She showed cattle, sheep and hogs. Her passion for livestock continued throughout her college career as she was a member of the 2005- 2007 Butler Community College and 2008 K-State Livestock Judging teams.

Marissa plays a key role here at DRIVE being involved in Live Bid auctions, Sales and our new youth publication, as an assistant editor.

Brenda Mays joins the EV Team with over 25 years experience in accounting in a variety of industries including hospital, wholesale propane transport, oil and gas, accounting and newspaper firms.

Brenda works out of the Aspermont, Texas office and is a graduate of Aspermont High School who has recently returned to the big city to raise her family. She has been married to Frank (Choocho) Mays for over 20 years and has a 7 year old daughter, Takayla.

Brenda works closely with both Encore and Unit Visions, as well as handling the books for all Lackey owned and operated businesses.

Charli Campbell grew up in the Wichita Falls area of Texas. She graduated from the Art Institute of Dallas with a degree in Business Management and Fashion Merchandising. She is a mother of three girls- Nicole, Erin, and Erica- and her husband Sonny has three boys. She currently resides in Aspermont, TX with her husband. Charli began working for Encore Visions in November 2011.
